Palak Paratha is a very healthy, nutritious and easy to cook dish. It can be served with yogurt on side or with gravies for lunch or at breakfast. I usually make them for breakfast along with a cup of masala tea.

- 2 cups of Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 small bunch of Spinach, washed and chopped
- 1 tbsp yogurt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 4-5 green chillies
- 1' ginger
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- pinch of Salt
- Oil for Frying
- Wash the spinach leaves and drain the water. Now finely chopped the spinach and keep on side.
- In a bowl mix all the ingredients mentioned above except the oil.
- Add water and knead into soft dough. Add one teaspoon of oil and knead the dough again.
- Cover the dough and let it settle for 15-20 min.
- Equally divide the dough into six balls.Take one ball and roll it into flat round paratha. Dust with flour while rolling wherever necessary.
- Heat tawa. Place one paratha when the tawa gets hot.
- Flip when one side is partly cooked. Apply some butter and flip again.
- Apply butter to other side now and flip again. Make sure you cook the edges.
- Palak paratha is ready to serve.
- Serve the paratha with yogurt, chutney or any gravy.
