Green Chutney is a versatile condiment that goes well with many snacks such as Dosas, Pakoras, Chaats etc.It can also be prepared in various ways and each method tastes yummy.
The green chutney I made the other day was for chaat and I also serve this sometimes with pakoras. I also love to serve this on side sometime during lunch or dinner as its very healthy.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh coriander
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- 3-4 green chillies
- 1" ginger
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 lemon - lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar
Method:
- Thoroughly wash mint and coriander leaves. Drian the water.
- Grind all the above ingredients with very less water to a smooth paste.
- Serve the chutney as a side to pakoras or on chaat.
